【摘要】:Thistestmethodisintendedforuseinthelaboratoryorfieldinevaluatingdistillatefuelcleanliness.Achangeinfiltrationperformanceafterstorage,pretreatment,orcomminglingcanbeindicativeofchangesinfuelcondition.Relativefilterabilityoffuelsmayvarydependingonfilterporosityandstructureandmaynotalwayscorrelatewithresultsfromthistestmethod.Causesofpoorfilterabilityinindustrial/refineryfiltersincludefueldegradationproducts,contaminantspickedupduringstorageortransfer,incompatibilityofcommingledfuels,orinteractionofthefuelwiththefiltermedia.Anyofthesecouldcorrelatewithorificeorfiltersystemplugging,orboth.1.1Thistestmethodcoversaprocedurefordeterminingthefilterabilityofdistillatefueloilswithintheviscosityrangefrom1.70to6.20mm2/s(cSt)at40176;C.Note1ASTMspecificationfuelsfallingwithinthescopeofthistestmethodareSpecificationD396GradeNos.1and2,SpecificationD975Grades1-D,lowsulfur1-D,2-D,andlowsulfur2-D,andSpecificationD2880GradeNos.1-GTand2-GT.1.2Thistestmethodisnotapplicabletofuelsthatcontainundissolvedwater.1.3ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
