【摘要】:ThisCodeofpracticedescribesaspectsofthermalinsulationforpipeworkandequipmentinthetemperaturerange—100℃to+870℃.Theinstallationtechniquesdescribedinthisstandardcanbeusedoutsidethetemperaturerangeindicated,however,itisrecommendedthatforsuchapplicationsspecialistadviceshouldbesought.Specialistapplications,suchasroadandrailtransportvehiclesandmarineandoffshoreinstallationsetc.,canbesubjecttoadditionalprovisionsnotcoveredbythisstandard.NOTE1Structuralinsulationofbuildingsandcoldstores,fireprotectionofstructures,refractoryliningsofplant,airborneinstallationsandallexternalundergroundmainsarenotcoveredbythisCodeofpractice.NOTE2SpecificationscorrespondingtopartsofthisCodeofpracticearegiveninBS5422.
