【摘要】:ThispartofBS5871specifiesinstallationandmaintenancerequirementsforinsetlivefueleffectgasfiresofheatinputnotexceeding15kW(16.6kWbasedongrosscalorificvalue)burning2ndand3rdfamilygasesforthepurposeofheatingroomsorspacesindomestic(seeNote5)orcommercialpremises.Combinedappliancesofthetypewhereafireisusedinconjunctionwithaboilerorcirculatorarealsocoveredinsofarastheinstallationofthecombinedapplianceisconcerned.Thestandardisapplicabletoappliancesintendedforinstallationeither:a)withinabuilder'sopeningand/orfireplacerecessandwhichmay,additionally,besuitableforinstallationinapurposedesignedmetalflueboxconformingtoBS715andflueconformingtotheconstructionalandtemperaturerequirementsofBSEN1856-1andBSEN1856-2;orb)usingadirectflueconnection,ifspecifiedinthemanufacturer'sinstructions;orc)inthecaseofaroomsealedappliance,usingaflueterminal/airductassemblysuppliedbytheappliancemanufacturer.Thisstandardcoverstheselectionofasuitableappliance,theventilationandflueingrequirements,andothermeasuresnecessarytoensureasafeinstallation.Thecentralheatingand/orhotwatersystemconnectedtoacombinedapplianceisnotwithinthescopeofthisstandardandreferenceshouldbemadetoBS5449(seeNote6)andBS5546forthispartofsuchaninstallation.ThisstandardisnotapplicabletomobileandportableappliancesconformingtoBSEN449ortoappliancesintouringcaravans.Additionalrequirementsfortheinstallationoffire/backboilersandfire/backcirculatorsarespecifiedinClauses15,16,17and18.NOTE1Insetlivefueleffectgasfiresdifferfromdecorativefueleffectgasappliances,whichburngassoastosimulateasolidfuelfireorproduceotherdecorativeeffects,inthattheyincorporateaheatexchangerandrestrictthepassageoftheproductsofcombustionbetweentheappliancefirebedandthechimneyorflue.TheonlydecorativefueleffectgasappliancescoveredbythispartofBS5871arethoseshowninFigurelb)anddetailedin1d)ofthecommentaryandrecommendationsonClause5ofthisstandard.NOTE2Unlessthecontextrequiresotherwise,insetlivefueleffectgasfiresarehereinafterreferredtoasfires.NOTE3Heatinputsinthisdocumentarebasedonnetcalorificvalue.Figuresbasedongrosscalorificvaluearegiveninparenthesiswheredeemednecessary.SeealsoClause5,commentaryandrecommendationsg).NOTE4Attentionisdrawntotheforewordconcerningtheinstallationofusedappliances.NOTE5Aswellasnormallyconstructeddwellings,domesticpremisesincludeanypermanentlysitedcaravanholidayhomes,residentialparkhomesandpermanentlymooredboats.SeeIGE/UP/8[8].NOTE6BS5449hasbeenpartlyreplacedbyBSEN12828andBSEN12831,andistobewithdrawnonceBSEN14336andBSEN14337arepublished.
